When I say I've been there, I'm very serious. I've experienced the pain, anxiety and hopelessness. Blackouts, traumatic experiences, job losses, financial hardships, encounters with the law—I've walked in those shoes too. I've caused pain to those around me. I hid my issues, justified my actions, and lied about my destructive patterns of drinking. I lived a double life, grappling with cover-ups, irritability, anger, sadness, and depression.

I've been through alcohol detox facilities and in-patient drug rehabilitation - four times. I've attended countless support groups, counseling sessions, and therapy sessions to reach the point where I stand today. I have prayed incessantly to the Lord for healing. I have watched my family pray in desperation for me.

I am now a transformed and forgiven individual, and I am passionate about what I do!
